Shop Policies, Shipping, & Returns
Shipping and delivery:
- All shipments will be sent out within 7 business days of order being placed unless otherwise communicated
- An email with tracking via Shippo will be provided right before shipment is dropped off at the post office
- All shipments over $100 include insurance
- Shipments over $499 will require signature – please specify when checking out if this will not work
- The store is not responsible for domestic orders shipped that do not make it to their final destination but will work with customers to resolve the issue to the best of our ability.
- International orders don’t have tracking throughout the course of shipping – once the package crosses through borders we can no longer see where the package is on our end. The store is not responsible for orders shipped that do not make it to their final destination.
- Wisconsin sales tax is applied to all orders being shipped to a Wisconsin address.
- Shipping materials are minimal on our end to reduce waste and all poly mailers are compostable.
- All buyers are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address entered is a safe, secure address. If a package is returned or the incorrect address was entered at checkout, the buyer is responsible to pay to have the item re-shipped. Additionally, returned or undeliverable packages can take several weeks or longer to be received, so the transit time depends on your final shipping location and is completely in the hands of the shipping carrier.
- Sonic Wave Vintage is not responsible for any import duties or taxes which may apply, or for any consequent delays that these may create. Please contact your local postal service or customs office for further information. We are obligated by law to declare the true value of goods, international buyers are responsible for all customs fees.
Shop Policies:
- All sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges. Please contact me if you have an issue with your order. If there was a mistake on our part – please reach out within 48 hours of delivery to discuss next steps. After 48 hours of delivery, all sales are final – no exceptions.
- We do our best to describe items in full accuracy, but as is the nature of vintage, sometimes there are some minor signs of age and/or wear such as minor stains, seam splits, loose buttons, etc. Again we do our best to describe any major flaws. Remember you are buying an authentic vintage item that lived a previous life and is often 30-100 years old. Please review images as well as these work as part of the description.
- Please go by measurements and best fit recommendations. Clothes on models DO NOT always fit the model and are often squeezed into or pinned for the photo. We do not accept returns based on sizing issues so make sure to know your measurements and double check before purchasing.
- Mistakes on our part are the only reason for a return. Buyers are responsible for reading item descriptions and reviewing measurements before purchasing. We will disclose all obvious/major flaws.
