60s Geoffrey Beene Long Sleeve Midi Dress

60s Geoffrey Beene long sleeve midi dress. Feels like heavy wool but not itchy, fully lined. Pleated front and back skirt. Impeccable construction. An incredibly rare designer piece. Model said it was hard to move her arms, so maybe better for someone who falls into the petite category in height. Back hidden zipper with hook and eye closure. This puppy is heavy. Documented in vogue 1969 and with socialite Mrs. James Sudler II as seen in photos!

15” shoulder

18.5” chest

14” waist at 13” down from shoulder – slight empire waist

30”+ hips (pleats)

35.5” length

1” hem at bottom

8.5” arm opening

15.5” arm length

2.5” hem in sleeve

Best fit: up to 35” chest, up to 27.5” waist

Model is 5’6” 33.5/28.5/35 for reference and this fit her but she said it was hard to raise her arms. Better for someone with smaller shoulders (models are 17”) and more petite build.
